Lavender Lemonade Recipe


Ingredients


  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 5 cups water

  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender

  • Ice

  • Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish


Instructions


  1. Make Lavender Simple Syrup: Mix 1 cup of sugar with 2 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over top and let it steep for 20 minutes. Strain the mixture to remove the lavender buds.


  2. Combine: In a pitcher, mix the lavender syrup and fresh lemon juice.


  3. Add Water: Pour in the remaining 4 cups of water and mix together. You may adjust the sweetness according to your taste.


  4. Chill and Serve: Let the lavender lemonade chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Serve over ice, garnishing each glass with lemon slices and a sprig of fresh lavender.
