Painting the Lavender Field

Join artist Kristen Raimondi, as she leads you through a step-by-step painting of the gorgeous lavender fields of Kin Loch Farmstead! We will be painting “En plein air” which simply put, is the French term for painting outdoors. The phrase came from French Impressionist painters who would pick up their easels, canvases and paints, and move outside to immerse themselves in the landscapes they were painting, capturing the ever-changing light and beauty of nature.  What better way to spend an afternoon than painting in the lovely lavender fields! The cost is $50 per person, and includes a 2 and a half hour guided art class, all of your painting supplies, including canvas and easel. 

If it is raining, then the class will be moved to the next day (Friday July 16th at 5:30pm)

Please feel free to bring snacks, wine and other beverages to make your time as lovely as possible!
